Support Manager - Learning Disabilities
An exceptional new opportunity has arisen with a well-known and respected charity who provide specialist Residential and Supported Living care for adults with learning disabilities and associated mental health. This fantastic, specialist charity is looking for a competent, experienced Support Manager to oversee the management of Supported Living Adult LD service, in the Huntingdon area. They pride themselves on delivering high standards of care across the country, using a person cantered approach. This is a very exciting time to join the company as they go through a very healthy period of growth.
The Manager is responsible for efficiently managing the supported living service, including the staff, budgets and resources to ensure that the most appropriate and highest possible standards of care are delivered and appropriately evidenced. The role will be primarily based from the office on site but may also be called the central office in Chatteris for meetings. The role will involve elements of business development in developing new areas where the company can expand into.
Key skills and experience required include:
- Preferably have a proven track record in successfully managing supported living service
- Prior experience of working with Learning Disabilities & Mental Health
- Ideally a relevant professional qualification (NVQ level 4)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement/marketing skills
- An ability to effectively manage, develop and inspire staff
