A fantastic job opportunity has become available for a Scrub Nurse – Theatre to work for a leading provider of private healthcare in the Watford area. We are looking to recruit a number of experienced and committed Theatre Nurses/ODPs to join friendly operating theatre team.
We are able to offer fixed cost surgery across our range of specialties including cataract removal surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome surgery, tonsillectomy for adults, hernia surgery and varicose vein treatment and surgery.
The successful candidate will be offered excellent salary plus other great benefits.
If you are a Theatre Nurse/ODP looking for a role where you can build a diverse range of clinical skills this is the place for you, as we provide a very wide range of surgical procedures, ranging in complexity and acuity. Our theatre teams also work closely with some of the region's leading consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques. Our real driving force is our ability to invest in our people, as we support our Theatre Nurses and ODPs to build their skills through mentoring and formal training such as ALS or ASP.
Our clients want their theatre staff to be as multi-skilled as possible, so ideally you will be able to work across scrub, anaesthetics and/or recovery, but many of our staff specialise in just one or two areas. Most important is that our Theatre Nurses/ODPs are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision. We are keen to promote from within the network, so if you are looking for a long term career with advancement opportunities you will find them at this hospital. A number of our Theatre Nurses/ODPs have gone on to secure Theatre Team Leader and Theatre Manager posts and we are very keen to encourage these ambitions.
To be considered for this role you must be Registered Nurse and have experience in similar settings.
