Barchesters procurement team have a brand new opportunity for aPurchase to Pay Systems Lead to join our established Warrington office. In this exciting position you will support the planning, development, and implementation of the procurement purchase to pay system, as well as its subsequent ongoing management. This is a new digital solution for Barchesters portfolio of 250 care homes and hospitals across the UK, and forms part of Barchesters wide ranging digital transformation project.
You will work collaboratively with the project team to deliver an appropriatepurchase to pay system, which will lead to improved commercial performance. You will be vital to ensuring the successful embedding of the new system, providing the business with guidance and insight into its use and ongoing compliance. As the project develops, you will have the opportunity to recruit your own team to provide the support required to achieve business objectives.
This is a permanent position, based in our Warrington office.

Required experience and qualifications:
3 years previous experience inpurchase to pay systems experience
Experience of setting and monitoring policies
Excellent understanding of procurement activity
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel when required

Role and responsibilities:
Support with the development and delivery ofpurchase to pay system, including scoping, designing, and implementing the system
Outline new standard operating procedures and processes
Manage a help desk for the wider business
Data analysis following successful implementation;
Develop and review policies and procedures impacted by the implementation of a replacement procurement system
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that the project is meeting the needs of all
Provide support and advice to the care home teams and trainers
Ensure system compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices
