New Brighton Day Nursery are looking for Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join the team within the toddler room. We are the only CIC Day Nursery in Wirral and one of the few independent, family run nurseries remaining in the area. Our nursery is purpose built, unlike other converted buildings, so perfect for young children, as outdoor access is direct from each room, no stairs, we have underfloor heating, natural light, open planned spaces, disabled access throughout, adjoining sleep rooms, changing facilities and bathrooms. We offer secure, private large outdoor play areas in and round the building and an outdoor ranger who offers continuous outdoor activities throughout the day.

We are Reggio Emelia inspired so our approach is very much aimed at viewing the children as strong, capable, resilient and rich with wonder and knowledge.


Requirements; 

  • Full time / part time 
  • 38 hours split over 5 days (Part time hours can be considered) 
  • Shift patterns (8.00 - 16.00 / 10.00 - 18.00)

  • Key Person should ensure their key child’s sense of safety, security, being nurtured, feeling of being loved and cared for.
  • Care is just as important as learning and playing – as they impact equally on the children’s development and overall well-being.
  • As Key Person you should build a good understanding of the child and be able to respond to needs or issues.
  • Child should be coming into nursery happy, secure, confident and excited.
  • Parents should be dropping off feeling reassured and comfortable to discuss any issues they feel may be relevant for their child’s care.
  • Parents when picking up should feel confident and informed about their child’s wellbeing and activities that day via combination of handover and room updates/ storypark.
