We are seeking a friendly, approachable and caring person who will be working amongst a small team at 2:1 to support a male with an acquired brain injury within his own home.
The candidate should have experience and skills to be able to understand and manage behaviours around brain injuries.
Tasks include:
Supporting the client to live independently in their own home
Support to access the community - enjoys outings for coffee
Promote personal hygiene (no hands on personal care)
Undertaking a range of daily living tasks including; shopping, light domestic duties (i.e. laundry, cleaning, etc), preparing meals.
Prompting medication
Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
Maintain professional standards
Work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
Block shifts available or AM shift (7am-4pm) PM shift 4pm-10pm) and sleep ins. Times approximate, we are fully flexible.
