Nursery Nurse
Here at Nurse Seekers we are proud to be working for a Quality Nursery School setting near Edgware, Middlesex. They are looking for Qualified Nursery Practitioner or Senior Practitioner and a Room Leader. To be considered for this position you will need to provide safe, high quality education and care for young children which meets the individual needs of children attending the setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a genuine passion for the Early Years sector
- Sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Setting up and decontamination of instruments
- Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
- As a keyworker for a group of children you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, every day
- Ability to work in a team and value and respect the ethos of the nursery and Montessori philosophy of a child centred education
- Commitment to working effectively with young children and families.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members
- To ensure that adequate records are kept and updated regularly.
Essential criteria
- Level 2/3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent, and a commitment to obtaining a level 3/4/5 qualification.
- Previous experience of working with young children.
- Knowledge of child protection procedures.
