Job Requirements / Description
We are a small family run nursery and are looking for for an experienced, enthusiastic and creative practitioner who is caring, and has drive and ambition to come and join our team.
This position is full time. Pay is subject to experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Have knowledge of the EYFS and be able to use this to support children's learning and development
- Provide a stimulating learning environment; prepare and develop resources if necessary
- Undertake observations to assess and evaluate children's development and learning needs
- Take a lead role in the responsibility for a key person group
- Be a positive role model
- 40 hours per week (5 days)
- Level 2 or 3+ in Childcare
Essential skills/Experience
-Have a relevant qualification(at least a level 2 or equivalent)
-Have relevant previous experience of working with children
-Have childcare experience and proven knowledge of the EYFS
-Be willing to work within organisational procedures and processes
