We are looking for Senior Care Assistants to enhance the management teams role in supporting our clients and staff team. We are looking for someone who is approachable, kind and has the ability to organise and lead others to provide high quality care for our clients.
What does the role entail:
- You will have 2 admin days a month, this will include undertaking new staff inductions, conducting interviews and supporting staff to complete their training and development. You will also support the Deputy manager with general staff monitoring. The other 2 days of the month you will be out covering staff for their supervisions, undertaking spot checks and delivering care plans to the clients and ensuring they are happy with the care they are being provided.
- You will spend 4 days per week doing hands on care. You will be our eyes and ears on the front line, building valuable relationships with staff and clients so that you can easily identify any areas for improvement and give praise to those who are doing a great job.
- We provide care to the Teignmouth, Dawlish, Newton Abbot and Totnes areas so flexibility to go to these areas are essential. You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle for this role.
- You will need to work alternate weekends.
- Experience and Qualifications in this area is desirable.
- You will take part in our On Call system, on a rota basis
