Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated individual ready to make a meaningful impact in early childhood development? Alton College Nursery is seeking a vibrant Nursery Practitioner to join our passionate team.


Salary (fixed point): £28,256.09 FTE (Actual - £21,542.25 based on 40hpw)

Hours: Full-time (40hpw) 

Weeks: Term time only 38 weeks per year (44.6 paid weeks)


About Alton College Nursery: We take pride in providing exceptional day care for children aged six months to five years. Our nurturing space accommodates up to 28 children at a time, fostering an environment where curiosity, play, and growth are at the heart of what we do. Operating from 8 am to 5 pm during term time, we lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. We pride ourselves on being a home from home nursery.


Who we seek: We are on looking for a Nursery Practitioner with an unwavering commitment to:

  • Understand and apply the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Little Faces is open 7.45am-5.45pm Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks of the year.



Registered with Ofsted and graded as good, the Nursery is led by fully qualified staff who are experienced and dedicated in making children feel safe, cared for and included. A key responsibility of the Nursery is helping promote the development of life long skills in children.
