Female Support Worker

Female Support Workers with experience of handling challenging behaviours and seizures required to work at our clients’ home in Runcorn.

£11.80 per hour, 5 hour, 16 hour or 32 hour permanent contracts available plus sleeping shifts.

Bank positions also available for experienced candidates.

A VALID DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO A CAR IS ESSENTIAL

Founded in 2005, Archangel Care began with a single, locally based residential unit for adults with learning disabilities. It has subsequently grown year on year and now has three branches covering Nottingham, Staffordshire and West Cheshire. From the Cheshire branch we cover Winsford, Northwich, Middlewich, Runcorn and Frodsham.

We provide Supported Living Accommodation and Outreach Support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Our customers are all very different with their own individual needs and interests, and we tailor their support to help them live a happy and fulfilled life, assisting them to access the community and complete everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking, finances, housework.

We are looking for new candidates that are excited to get into the care sector for the first time, or experienced carers looking to work for a care provider that puts people first. We will provide full training in preparing candidates for their role and we pay candidates to complete their training.

Your work will be planned to ensure you routinely work with the same customers. This helps you, our future staff members, to provide high quality, consistent care.

Hours and Pay

• We have a variety of shifts available including earlies, lates, one-to-ones and sleeping shifts.
• Working alternate weekends is essential.
• We can offer full-time and part-time contracts: 5 hours, 16 hours or 32 hours - permanent contracts
• Sleep shift hours are additional.
• We pay a basic rate of £11.80 per hour with enhancements for overtime - £12.25 per hour for o/t in the week, £12.50 for overtime at the weekend and up to double time for festive bank holidays.
• Sleep shifts (attached to an early or a late shift) are paid at £6.00-7.00 per hour (11am-7am). You are there in case of an emergency only.
• Our staff have a lot of control over their pay, which includes weekly or monthly pay and flexible options for accrued holiday pay. Plus, we pay a mileage contribution and factor travel time into your pay when applicable.

Bonus Scheme

We have a generous bonus scheme which includes a payment of £300 for completing your probationary period, and we have a refer a friend scheme which will pay £300 to the person that makes the referral once the new candidate has completed their probationary period.
