Care Assistant

We are looking for two full-time care assistant, experience preferred.

As a care assistant you are required to show warmth whilst supporting our residents, whilst helping to promote independence and dignity in a positive manner. It will be part of your job to enhance the daily lives of the individuals in your care.

Knowledge and experience of caring for elderly people, coming from a care background, and understanding older people would be ideal.

We provide a high level of care to our residents, ensuring their wellbeing. We provide personal care , maintaining a high level of hygiene. We need someone who can complete all records accurately, and who has the initiative to report changes in a resident need to the senior or management. We need a person who can support our residents in maintaining their independence and someone who understands the importance of person-centred care.

Other duties will include laundry, creating and serving suppers and snacks etc.

We are looking for a person who can work independently, as well as part of a team.

Someone who is flexible and able to cover holiday and sickness, including weekends.

A caring personality.

Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and in written form.

Be able to undertake the written aspects of training, including diplomas as required.

Have some experience with Ipads, as all recording is done electronically.
