Are you a motivated and energetic person?

We are seeking experienced and motivated room leads to join our busy setting.

You will be responsible for the running and organisation of your base room, supporting staff and children.

You will need to communicate openly and effectively with parents and carers

To keep a safe and healthy environment

Have a strong understanding of all health and safety policies and procedures that are relevant to the nursery setting

Supervise other staff members, so you’ll need to maintain strong and positive relationships with members of your team.

You’ll support and supervise the needs of nursery workers and assistants, such as assigning specific tasks and providing advice, so you can all collectively deliver the best childcare possible.

You may mentor staff members through training sessions, and schedule their day-to-day duties

You’ll need to ensure staff members are filling out the correct paperwork in line with their role, such as records of development or progress checks.

Ensure the the children have a stimulating learning experience which supports them grow and meet their learning targets

You’ll also liaise with the senior management team to deliver relevant training,

Requirements;

40 hours (Over 4/5 days)

Level 3 in Childcare preferred but would consider a Level 2 with 2+ years experience in Childcare
