We are looking for a a deputy manager to join our management team, to work with the management team to maintain high standard of provision across the setting by leading and supporting team members.
Key responsibilities:
To lead on inductions, probations, investigations, disciplinaries and capabilities.
To organise day to day staffing.
To take part in recruitment.
To be a line manager for safeguarding supervisions and performance management.
To have a strong understanding of safeguarding in early years and to become a DSL.
To answer day to day staffing queries.
To signpost and book staff on training.
To lead Nursery effectively in the absence of the manager and deal with any issues when they arise.
To have a good understanding of early years ratios and be able to organise staffing accordingly when needed.
To undertake meetings with staff when deemed necessary.
To be able to think outside the box when needed.

Our children’s mental health is important and all of our staff have accessed training around supporting children’s health and happiness. Additionally we also recognise the importance of taking care of our environment and our children are encouraged to recycle and are taught about this throughout their time in Nursery.
