School Support Worker
Nurse Seekers are working on behalf of a fantastic Independent School in Kent who are looking to add a further Clinical Support Worker to their fantastic School healthcare team.
The School is seeking a Support Worker who is able to assist other Health Centre staff in the provision of care to the pupils and to contribute the day to day running of the School’s Health Centre.
The successful support worker will also be required to administer first aid to students where required and at times this may extend to mental health first aid and emotional support.
The role will also consist of some administrative duties and the successful candidate must have a basic form of IT literacy in order to ensure they are able to record information accurately.
Although experience within a School in not necessary the School is keen to hear from Support Workers or Health Care Assistants that have some understanding of the medical and safeguarding issues involved in working with young people.
The successful candidate will have an empathetic manner and be able to connect with and understand the concerns of children whilst offering appropriate support.
