EARLY YEARS QTS/EYTS TEACHER - PART TIME TERM TIME ONLY

The Early Years Teacher must hold a minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Years and preferably hold their QTS (Qualified Teacher’s Status) although NQT’s, candidates with Early Years Professional Status or Early Years Teacher Status will be considered alongside their experience.

The Early Years Teacher is responsible for overseeing the curriculum, supporting and mentoring all other Early Years Educators through our ‘Planning in the Moment approach’ to ensure that individual children are reaching their full potential and are ‘school ready’ by the time they finish Nursery School. School readiness includes the personal, social and emotional aspects of development as well as their academic attainment and is a holistic approach.

This person will be responsible for carrying out specific individual support with children who need further development or extending in a particular curriculum area as identified by the key carers and feeding this back to the parents/carers on the progress made on a six weekly basis. This person is also expected to provide the highest quality of care and education for the children and the highest level of communication and support to parents/carers and supporting others in doing the same. This person should ably and enthusiastically maintain an environment that promotes the Nursery School curriculum, ethos and core values of the company.
