Our client is looking to employ a Boarding Assistant for their prestigious school located in Cambridge. The hours are part-time, it is on a term-basis only, and the successful candidate must have a desire to support and care for children.
The Role
Our client is looking for a caring and friendly assistant, to help look after the safety and welfare of the students at their school. You will be expected to focus on students’ welfare as your top priority and ensure that you support students in a warm and friendly manner.

Some of your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Read, understand, and sign all relevant school policies and procedures (safeguarding, bullying policy, online safety, etc
- Complete training in Safeguarding, Child Protection, First Aid and Fire Marshalling and any other areas relevant to the safe running of the boarding house
- Provide students with any assistance they require, including first aid and medication
- Work extensively as part of a team and report any student concerns as and when these arise to the Head of Boarding and the relevant House Manager (if the latter is appropriate)
