We are looking to employ a committed, compassionate, experienced qualified Social Worker as a Team Manager in our residential care home, to take us to the next step of our journey to being Ofsted registered.
The role requires someone passionate and experienced in working with young people, with a range of challenges, including emotional & behavioural challenges, ASD, ADHD, and a range of acute mental health diagnoses.

Key Requirements:
- Female, Qualified Social Worker with at least 5 years experience in social work in Children’s Services: including child protection, care proceedings, and looked-after children, while undertaking the full range of social work tasks with children in need and their families.
- Level 5 Leadership and Management – Children and Young People, if not, we will support you to achieve this within the timeframe set in the Children’s Homes Regulations.
- A good understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding Procedures.
- A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality.
- An understanding of mindfulness and its benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- To comply with all Medusa Policies, Procedures, and Operations Manual
- Ensure all Safeguarding requirements are met and adhered too
- To supervise and support the team in achieving their duties and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the project
- Ensure all staff receive line management, supervision, and appraisals
- To meet Ofsted’s Quality Standards and ensure the team are working to those same standards
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met and adhered to
- To maintain all contractual agreements with Local Authorities
- To be on-call
