Support Worker

We run a day service so we are looking for someone who can come into the base near Hinckley town centre to support vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and Autism.

The role would be 20-25 hours on a part time contract at £11.44 p/h with 45p a mile.

The day service entails things such as arts and crafts, computer skills, cooking skills, community visits into the local town. We don’t do personal care but some clients do need assistance in the bathroom, no actual physical contact.

We require someone that drives and willing to collect from Enderby and Broughton Astley (or nearby) and bring clients into the base and drop back in their own vehicle. Collections would be at around 9.30 am and drop offs around 2.30-3pm

Saturdays are needed once or twice a month 10am-2pm on a rota basis.

No experience required as we offer extensive and ongoing training with recognised certification in all aspects of healthcare needs. Current DBS would be advantageous.

We are looking to diversify the team but excellent English speaking skills are required as our clients would struggle with strong accents when communicating.
