Term Time Level 3 Nursery Nurse
Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a fantastic quality nursery based in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and the willingness to fulfil their greatest potential to provide the best quality care for children aged 2 to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- To act as a key carer to a group of children.
- To work effectively as part of a team.
- To work as key carer, supporting parents with children 2-5 years.
- To work in a way that as a team member, the nursery meets required standards as laid down by the EYFS/Ofsted/Legislation.
- To support home/nursery partnerships.
- Flexibility working from 8am-6pm.
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- To maintain good working relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
- To act as an ambassador for the nursery through maintaining a positive image of its aims and objectives.
- Look upon the Nursery as a “whole”, where you can help, be most utilised, and be constantly aware of the needs of children.
- Support children’s physical needs of children and encourage good standards of personal hygiene, whilst promoting independence.
- To offer children a safe, secure, caring, and supportive environment, providing learning and play opportunities to foster their growth and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- To undertake any duties set by the management team that will assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Essentials
- Level 3 or Equivalent in Childcare or above.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in the written and spoken English Language.
- Good knowledge and act in accordance with current legal and statutory frameworks, policies and procedures.
