My Homecare Gloucester is looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious Care Assistants to join our team.
The role is based at the location of your client‘s home and involves travelling to and from their address or place of residence. So access to a reliable form of transport is essential. We welcome candidates who are looking to progress their careers in social care but also those who are looking for their first role in the sector as full training in all aspects of care will be provided. Every day working as a care professional is different and has such a positive impact with those you are supporting.
Regular tasks that you will undertake supporting our clients include:
- Mobilising - helping in and out of bed, around the house, out in the community.
- Personal Hygiene Care – bathing, washing, dressing, oral health care.
- Toileting – incontinence wear, emptying commode, catheter care, assisting to toilet.
- Medication – prompts, administration, applying creams/lotions.
- Meal preparation – meals, snacks, drinks.
- Companionship
