About us

For over 145 years, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board has provided support the Jewish community and North Leeds community. Our vision is to positively change lives and we do this by delivering an extensive range of community support and registered care services to over 1,000 people every month. 

Moorcare is a well-established domiciliary care provider with a Good CQC rating and an established customer base working across north Leeds.


?Role Summary

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Team Leaders who want to help us make a difference to our service and clients. Your role will be to support a team of care workers to provide an ethnically sensitive and person-centred domiciliary care service to members of our local community and provide a first point of contact for carers, clients and families.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for client assessments, ensuring all reviews and spot checks are up to date for both staff and clients, taking the lead from management. You will also be responsible for achieving and setting targets and meeting the departments KPIs in relation to compliance. You will also be required to update electronic systems.

You will work alongside the existing management team to manage a team of carers providing hands-on care and support to our clients who live in their own homes in the local community. You will support the Rota Coordinator in ensuring all care calls are covered. The service operates from 7am-11pm 7days a week..


Essential skills/Experience Qualifications: • You will hold a Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Health & Social Care. • We rely on inspirational people who share our values and want to make a real difference to people’s lives.
