Care Assistant

Care at My Home Ltd is a Domiciliary care company based in South East London which provides one-to-one care and support to our clients in their own homes. We provide person-centered care in line with CQC standards and the 2004 Care Act.

We are currently recruiting experienced staff to work with us to deliver high quality support and care services to our clients.

• Capacity for female candidates only due to client preference

• The operating hours are between 07:00am - 22:00pm

Our staff may work providing door to door visiting or live in care for our clients.

Part-time and full-time positions available with hours of work over 6 days a week.

Hourly rate: £12:50 - £13:15

We have a robust introductory training scheme for all new staff which will involves staff completing a combination of client and workplace familiarisation, online modules and in-person training. Using regular staff reviews and appraisal we work with staff to optimize their training and development.

Client's homes will usually be within 60 mins travel time of head office.

Essential Criteria for candidates

·     L2 care certificate or the equivalent AND 1 yr experience of working in a UK domiciliary or residential care

·     Moving and handling experience. 

·     Familiarity with smart phone app use and Microsoft office.

·     UK driving license - clean

·     Excellent English language skills – verbal and written.

·     Good interpersonal skills.

·     Positive attitude towards service.

·     Willingness to work with our client’s pets eg dogs

·     Ability to work independently with our clients with remote supervision of care managers and be able to show empathy and interest in our clients

·     Willingness to work flexibly within our team of support and care workers
