Are you a compassionate person, who loves to help people? We are looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals, who are interested in becoming Community Care Assistants.
Whether you are experienced or not, we want to hear from you!
As a Community Care Assistant, you will be responsible for travelling to and from each client, in order to support them within their own homes.
So access to a reliable form of transport is essential!
We welcome candidates who are looking to progress their careers in social care but also those who are looking to start their career, as full training in all aspects of care will be provided.
Every day working as a care professional is different and has such a positive impact with those you are supporting.
Regular tasks that you will undertake supporting our clients include:
- Mobilising - helping in and out of bed, around the house, out in the community.
- Personal Care – bathing, washing, dressing, oral health care.
- Toileting – incontinence wear, emptying commode, catheter care, assisting to toilet.
- Medication – prompts, administration, applying creams/lotions.
- Meal preparation – meals, snacks, drinks.
- Companionship - conversation, playing games, going for walks, easing loneliness
A typical morning shift is 7am - 2pm, evening shifts are 4pm - 10pm and all care staff work a minimum of one shift every other weekend.
