An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a hardworking and friendly HR Team.


Responsibilities of the role:

As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for delivering high quality, consistent and compliant advice, guidance and support to line managers on different Employee Relations situations, ensuring fair and consistent case management of disciplinaries, grievances, capability and absence management including AWOL. This will include supporting investigation processes and attending hearings/meetings on occasions as a HR representative, maintaining and updating all appropriate case notes, records and tasks within the HR case management system and completing all associated activities regarding case management, including reviewing investigation reports and associated documentation, including the issuing of invite and outcome letters and disciplinary packs. You will also support probation review processes, flexible working requests and long term sickness cases.


What we’re looking for:

You will need to be confident in your understanding of employment law and advising on the implications of decisions and able to support managers with business-focused, timely and effective solutions. The successful candidate will have proven ER experience including advising on disciplinary, capability, absence and grievance issues as well as experience of working in a high-volume environment. You will have knowledge and understanding of relevant employment legislation. It would be beneficial to be CIPD qualified however not essential. You will have high attention to detail and levels of accuracy, along with strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels, not afraid to challenge and offer solutions and recommendations. You will be highly organised and be able to manage your own workload and capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a generalist Employee Relations environment preferably within a healthcare environment.
