* Provide full care of children, i.e. ensuring their physical needs (food & personal hygiene) are met
* Provide safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities; preparing activities through an organised programme
* Be aware of / undertake the promotion of safeguarding the welfare of children
* Provide healthy nutritional snacks and meals
* Assist Room Supervisor with daily record forms
* Undertake role of Key-person, undertaking observation, assessment and planning for children
* Attend / undertake training as appropriate/ required
* Administer First Aid, as required/ appropriate
* Work within Apples & Pears Policies & Procedures
* Be coherent with the Revised EYFS requirements and work with Supervisor/ Management to ensure fully adhered to
* Cleaning duties (per schedule)
* Any other duties as may be reasonably expected of the post holder
* 40 hours to be worked over 4/5 days shift dependent
