Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an excellent nursery that are currently recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager role for their Montessori setting in Catford. This setting has a high-standard of care with only 12children on site at any one time! They do strongly believe in real life experiences and so take the children on regular outings!
You will work closely with the Manager to ensure a safe and enriched environment, along with supporting the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist in the organisation of a high-quality establishment for children from one to five years.
You will provide high standards of care and early learning, along with supporting the team in order to provide an enabling environment.
Main duties-
- To promote the high standards of the nursery always to parents, staff and visitors
- To ensure the provision of high standards of physical, personal, social and emotional care
- To lead a team of professional workers and to ensure good practice at all times
- To assist the Manager in setting and implementing objectives and policy for the nursery
- To assist with the planning and organisation of staffing schedules and holiday rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with *Ofsted
- To assist with the senior management team, overseeing the implementation new ideas, theory’s & new approaches are being maintained.
- Support the appropriate supervision meetings/processes in conjunction with the Manager
- To assist the Manager in the supervision of training of students in placement within the nursery
- To deputise for the Manager in her absence
- To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time-to-time by the Manager.
