We are looking for a qualified childcare professional with a NVQ level 3 or above to join our team and work our baby room, 3 months - 24 months.
This role includes:
· To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment and be responsible for the welfare for all children
· Record observations and the assessment of children’s learning and development ensuring records are kept up-to-date, are of a high standard and are shared effectively and in a timely manner (Tapestry).
· Be a key person.
· To work in partnership with all parents/carers, building and maintaining relationships that encourage trust, open communication and involvement in nursery life
· To work flexibly as part of the larger team, assisting and supporting colleagues wherever required, in order to ensure the smooth running of the business, providing a positive and diverse working environment
· Adhere to the Chantry House Nursery policies and procedures
· Lead by example when carrying out caring and comforting regimes
· Maintain professional relationships with children, being a strong role model and secure base
