We are a small residential care home for the elderly in Polegate, just a short walk from the train station and we are currently seeking a caring individual to join our friendly team as a daytime Health Care Assistant. 

 

You do not need previous care experience to work with us or any specific qualifications as full training will be given. However, we are looking for caring, compassionate people who have a passion for looking after elderly people showing empathy.

We will support you with training, achieving Health and Social Care qualifications, if you choose to. If you have not done care work before, we will support you to complete the Care Certificate when you join us. 


There are opportunities to progress to a senior role and in time, a Team Leader.

Hours 07.30 - 19.30

Cwmaman Care Centre is an attractive property set in a quiet village, Cwmaman, near Aberdare. There are a few local shops including a Convenient Store and a Chinese Take-away. There is also a Tea Room, Hairdresser, Cwmaman Institute with a cinema, a Primary School and a church nearby within walking distance.

Experienced and qualified staff with dedication and several years of service in the Home provide the personal care service supported by the Management Team. There is also a team of domestic, maintenance and catering staff to maintain the cleanliness and services in the building and to provide tasty and traditional food.
