Our small rural Pre-School is situated in the beautiful Preston Candover, which is 10 minutes from Hatch Warren and Alresford. We have been an Ofsted Outstanding for the last 4 consecutive inspections. We really value our staff, continually developing their skills and knowledge through CPD.
Key Responsibilities:
· To assist with the planning of the curriculum using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance.
· To help to set up the playroom for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session.
· To act as a key person to a group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met and their next steps planned.
· To work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
· To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences.
· To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
· To attend training courses as required and to take responsibility for your development.
· To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Pre-school Head, in accordance with the setting’s business plan/objectives.
Desirable Criteria:
· Willingness to undertake further training.
· Current Paediatric First Aid qualification.
· Current Safeguarding Level 3
· Good sense of humour and good team player

We are an Ofsted Outstanding setting offering Pre-school sessions for children aged 2+, Monday - Thursday: - 8.30am - 3.15pm and Fridays:- 8.30am - 11.45am, with government funded hours available.
