As the Baby room leader you will be responsible for laying the foundation of a caring and proactive baby room routine, establishing a curriculum that forms a consistent and well thought out syllabus . You will be an excellent role model to the practitioners within the room and lead by example. You will have a strong knowledge of the EYFs and how to form the basics of an effective key worker and a leading practitioner system. As a Baby room leader you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a very thorough understanding of how to engage in well thought out planning systems that can encompass all of the children's needs within the room. You will be a role model for the children and the practitioner alike, engaging in all aspects of running the room from safer sleeping to weaning and motivating colleagues.
