As an Activities Coordinator at Victoria House Care Home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you’ll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents, focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Hours; 14.00 - 17.00 Monday - Friday
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Cwmaman Care Centre is an attractive property set in a quiet village, Cwmaman, near Aberdare. There are a few local shops including a Convenient Store and a Chinese Take-away. There is also a Tea Room, Hairdresser, Cwmaman Institute with a cinema, a Primary School and a church nearby within walking distance.
At Cwmaman Care Centre we encourage and promote residents to make their own choices about their daily routine and support them to maintain personal dignity and independence and ensure they lead a comfortable, safe and happy life.
Experienced and qualified staff with dedication and several years of service in the Home provide the personal care service supported by the Management Team. There is also a team of domestic, maintenance and catering staff to maintain the cleanliness and services in the building and to provide tasty and traditional food.
